TM sizzles at 2009 Creative East Awards
No wonder we’ve got great big grins on our boat races this morning...our work for the Original London Banger won Best Advertising Campaign at this year’s Creative East Awards held at the Theatre Royal, Norwich on Friday 8 May.
Contested between agencies from Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Bedfordshire, the award show was hosted by TV funny man, Clive Anderson. Judges included Peter Murray-White, 20 years at Cogent in London and now Managing Director of the White Company, Scott Hansell, founder and Managing Director of CCL and David Walker, responsible for all Kellogg’s promotional work in the UK and Europe. Not an easy bunch to impress then!
Our category had 4 shortlisted Finalists including National Express with the criteria for Best Advertising Campaign explaining the need to clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of the work. Special thanks need to go to our client, Tulip Ltd for the opportunity to work on such an exciting brand and for being so supportive of the creative work throughout.
The campaign was also a Finalist in the Best Creative Campaign category, but – hey – we’re not greedy, we can wait until next year to sweep the board!
